About the fragrance
An espresso poured over rose petals and a scoop of vanilla: Intense Café is Montale's dessert-table fragrance, gourmand to the core.
A sweet floral opening leads quickly to the main event, coffee and rose woven together so the bitterness of the beans and the jammy petals soften each other. The base brings amber, vanilla and white musk, creamy and long, turning the coffee into something closer to a latte than a black shot.
Although it is marketed toward women, plenty of men who like sweet scents wear it, and our catalog lists it for both. It is heavy and long-lived, so it fits evenings, cold weather and situations where you want to be noticed, and is a poor choice for a crowded office.
