Perfect for men and women, this is a high-performing fragrance with great longevity and a nice sillage. It opens with a nice strong kiss of leather, patchouli, labdanum, and oud. Then the heart joins in with middle notes of cedar and sandalwood, introducing a fresher accord. The dry down features ambergris, vanilla, and white musk for a subtle sweetness at the end of the scent.

Pierre Montale founded Parfums Montale in Paris in 2003. Prior to opening his own perfume house, he spent time in Saudi Arabia created perfumes for the royal family. Even now in Paris, he continues his love affair with the Middle East by borrowing notes, scents, and Oriental inspirations for his perfumes. Oud, incense, sandalwood, and cedar are some of his favorite essences to play with.
