About the Creator
The brand Tauer Perfumes was founded in 2005 by a swiss chemist Andy Tauer by education and a candidate of sciences in the field of molecular biology. He came to the perfumery art in due to his love for the world of fragrances, and this boundless love for his work allowed him to become a world-renowned master. According to the creator himself, the passion for this craft was awakened in him by the book of the famous Mandy Aftel about the history and art of parfumery. After reading it, he began to actively experiment with combining ingredients into aroma compositions.
The aroma compositions created by Tower combine a subtle author’s intuition and the use of chemically verified formulas. His perfume L’air du Desert Marocain has received the highest recognition of the most famous Italian expert Luca Turin. After this success, the brand’s ascent to cult status did not take long to wait. Andy Tower is inspired by vintage fragrances, but always strives to rethink and modernize them as much as possible. The main principles of the perfumer’s work are naturality and uniqueness. The colognes are made and packaged by Tower manually in pentagonal designer bottles created by his friend. The circulation is about 1000 bottles per month.
Aroma Bottles
Tower created his debut works, 01 Le Maroc Pour Elle and 02 L’Air Du Desert Marocain, at the request of a friend who owned a bookstore in Zurich. They later became his bestsellers. In 2006, they were joined by the smoky leather 03 Lonestar Memories, followed by the works thanks to which the brand is gaining success in other countries.
Simultaneously with the development of the aroma line, Tower maintains a personal blog where he talks about new scented samples of compositions. In 2011, the brand presents the first millezim — Zeta, dedicated to the summer and flowering of lime trees. A few months later, three Pentachords (later discontinued) are released in transparent bottles. 2013 brings a limited edition pink PHI Une Rose de Kandahar. A year later, Tower announces the appearance of the Tauerville series, which over the next years will include soliflors in 30-milliliter bottles and several limited editions.
In 2017, the brand appeals to Eastern customers with Attar AT and L’OUDH issues. One of the last works of the perfumer to date is inspired by the Swiss Alps L’Air Des Alpes Suisses and marine Phtaloblue.
