About the fragrance
Slice a ripe mango, set it next to a vase of jasmine, and let the room fill with both: Mango Manga is a tropical fruity floral with a surprisingly earthy foundation.
The opening is all fruit, mango and sweet orange zest, breezy and bright. Jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang and neroli come in close behind, adding a creamy, sunny floral heart. Then the base changes the tone: Moroccan oud, vetiver, cedar and oakmoss steady the sweetness and give it a woody backbone that keeps it from tasting like candy.
It was conceived with women in mind, though anyone who likes fruit with some grit can wear it. Best on warm days, vacations and relaxed weekends. Mango is a note people either adore or find cloying, and a 5 ml decant is a low-risk way to see whether it charms or cloys on you, and to compare it with the fruitier Pretty Fruity.
