Christian Dior Eau Sauvage

Herbs, citrus and moss in perfect proportion: Eau Sauvage is Dior's classic citrus aromatic for men and one of the reference points for the whole genre.

Lemon and bergamot lead, lifted by basil, lavender, rosemary and a touch of fruit, crisp and green like a garden after rain. The heart is surprisingly rich, carnation, coriander, jasmine, rose and orris root over sandalwood and patchouli, giving the freshness a soft, slightly powdery body. Oakmoss, musk, vetiver and amber close it out, dry and elegant.

It suits warm weather, workdays and anyone who wants a gentleman's cologne with real substance. If you expect a modern sweet or blue scent, its mossy, herbal character can feel old-school, and that is part of the point.
