About the fragrance
Not every Montale wears a cloak of oud. Blue Amber is the house in a lighter mood: aromatic, a little green, and warmed underneath with amber and vanilla.
Bergamot and coriander open it with a bright, peppery-citrus snap, and geranium brings a rosy, slightly minty herbal tone that reads clean and barbershop-adjacent. As the citrus fades, vetiver keeps things dry and grounded while amber and vanilla gradually take over, so the late hours feel softer and sweeter than the start suggests.
It works for men and women who want something easy and refreshing that still has a warm core, a good fit for spring days, office wear or travel. It is not for anyone hunting a heavy oriental. Since it sits between fresh and ambery, a decant is the easiest way to see which side your skin pulls it toward.
