About the fragrance
For all the oud in its name, Aoud Orchid behaves more like a tropical dessert: soft fruit and creamy flowers on a smooth woody base.
Mandarin orange, coconut and peach open juicy and playful. As it settles, orchid and patchouli leaf give it a creamy, slightly earthy floral heart. Vanilla, wood notes, amber and white musk round it out into something warm and comforting rather than mysterious.
Pitched at both women and men, it works on spring and summer evenings, on vacation or whenever you want sweetness with some poise. Oud purists will miss the smoke. It is less sugary and more floral than Wild Candy. Coconut and peach together can read delicious or cloying, and wearing a decant on a warm evening is the fair test.
