About the fragrance
An old-school barbershop with a view of lemon groves: Mefisto is a citrusy aromatic for men from Xerjoff, polished and easy to like.
Bergamot, grapefruit and Amalfi lemon make a sharp, sunny opening. Lavender, soft powdery iris and rose then shape a smooth, gentlemanly heart. Musk, sandalwood, Virginia cedar and amber form a clean, warm base that keeps the citrus from feeling thin.
It suits office days, spring and summer, and men who want to smell fresh but refined. Anyone after sweetness or spice will find it too reserved. Compared with Fiero, it is softer and more floral.
