About the fragrance
Saffron, carnation and red rose over a cocoa-dusted amber: Casamorati 1888 is a spicy oriental floral from Xerjoff, warm and quietly theatrical.
Coriander and pepper open earthy and bracing, carnation adding a clove-like bite and saffron a leathery, bittersweet glow. The heart blooms into red rose, honeyed neroli and ylang-ylang, rich and romantic. Sandalwood and patchouli with a touch of birch dry down to a cocoa amber.
It is unisex and wearable year-round, though it shines brightest in winter and on intimate evenings. Those who want light and transparent will find it opulent. Spicy roses vary a lot with skin chemistry, so a 5 ml decant is a smart place to begin.
