About the fragrance
Black pepper and resin give Bentley Infinite Intense a darker, rougher grain than its sibling. It is a spicy, earthy scent for men that trades open-air freshness for warmth.
Pepper hits first, backed by lavender, violet and geranium, so the opening is aromatic and slightly floral rather than purely sharp. The heart turns resinous: elemi with its lemony, incense-like lift, salty ambergris, sweet benzoin and a dusting of nutmeg. Haitian vetiver, patchouli and Moroccan cedar lay down a dry, woody base with a shadowy edge.
Wear it in cool weather, for evenings out or whenever a dark suit needs company. Men who love crisp, airy freshness may find it heavy going. Resin-and-pepper scents tend to change a lot between the first spray and the third hour, which is a good reason to live with a 5 ml decant for a few days and judge the drydown, not just the opening.
