About the fragrance
Fougère d'Argent is a fougère with the lights turned to silver: lavender and ginger on top, then something smooth and woody underneath, like a crisp white shirt under a gray cashmere sweater.
Ginger, lavender and mandarin open with bright citrus energy and a clean herbal tone. The heart is where it gets interesting: labdanum and akigalawood give a warm, slightly peppery woodiness. Coumarin in the base provides the classic hay-like, softly sweet warmth that defines the fougère style.
It is easy to wear daily, especially in spring and summer, and suits anyone who likes fresh scents with some backbone. Akigalawood is a less familiar material, and its spicy-woody tone can be subtle or prominent depending on the skin. A small decant lets you test that before committing.
