About the fragrance
The name gets the attention, but the scent itself is far more composed than the label suggests: Fucking Fabulous smells like a suede glove left beside a bowl of bitter almonds. Plush, dry, and only quietly wicked.
Bitter almond is the first thing you notice, sharp and nutty, then tonka pulls it toward something softer and rounder. Orris brings a cool, lipstick-like powder, cashmeran wraps it in a fuzzy, woolly warmth, and a leather accord runs underneath like the lining of a good coat. It never really changes shape so much as it slowly melts into the skin.
It is unisex and moves comfortably from afternoon to late night, though cold weather flatters it most. Almond and orris together can feel either luxurious or a touch cosmetic, and a full bottle is a bigger commitment than a curious sniff. A 5 ml lets you live with it for a week and decide whether the joke on the label is worth the punchline.

Wasn't F'n fabulous
Tom Ford fragrances, I found, are unique and you either like them or don't. I personally found this particular fragrance not to my liking which isn't on par with most reviews. I don't really know what I was expecting but it wasn't as bold as Oud Wood or Tobacco Vanilla. To me it starts off subtle and stays that way which was surprising to me. To me, Tom Ford fragrances make a bold statement and this fell far short of the mark.
