About the fragrance
Chocolate, caramel and coffee poured over something darker, almost like hot asphalt: this Angel for men is a gourmand that refuses to be cute about its sweetness.
It starts with a cool flash of mint and lavender, an aromatic handshake borrowed from the barbershop. Then the dessert cart rolls in, caramel and dark chocolate with a roasted coffee note, while a tarry edge keeps the whole thing from tasting like candy. Patchouli takes over late in the wear, earthy and smooth, and the sugar recedes into something closer to warm skin.
This is cold-weather material for winter evenings and long dinners. Lovers of clean, fresh scents will probably find it overwhelming. The tar note is the gamble, reading either as smoky intrigue or as burnt sugar, and a 5 ml decant answers that faster than any description.
