About the fragrance
Bergamot and pepper first, then jasmine pressed against leather: Frapin The Orchid Man is an aromatic that sits right between masculine and feminine.
Bergamot and black pepper give a spicy, citrusy start that feels energetic rather than sharp. The heart pairs sweet jasmine with leather, soft and faintly animalic, more glove than saddle. Amber, oakmoss and patchouli build an earthy, warm base that lingers on clothes after you've left the room.
It suits spring and fall, evenings out and anyone who likes leather with a floral touch. If oakmoss reads old-fashioned to you, try before buying. The jasmine-leather pairing can lean pretty or rugged depending on skin chemistry, and one small decant settles which way it tilts for you.
