About the fragrance
A sun-dried haystack near a tobacco barn, with fresh lavender growing along the fence: Pour Homme Intenso is a woody aromatic for men that moves from clean to warm in a few steps.
Lavender, basil and water notes open crisp and green, with marigold and geranium adding a soft floral bite. The heart is the interesting part: tobacco, hay and bran give a dry, golden, slightly cereal-like warmth, while clary sage and a Moepel accord bring a honeyed, balsamic smoothness. Sandalwood, cypress, musk, amber and labdanum make for a resinous, gently sweet finish.
It feels most at home in fall and winter, at dinners or in the office when you want warmth without heaviness. Those who dislike hay or tobacco notes should test first. It sits between fresh and rich, and only a few wears will tell you which side shows up on you, which is what a decant is for.
