Before becoming a niche fragrance house, Creed was a tailoring company that was started in London, but eventually moved its headquarters to Paris. Beginning in the 1980s, the business developed a positive reputation around its colognes and perfumes. One of the reasons the business can sometimes go years between releasing a new fragrance is that it doesn’t follow a strict release schedule and only sells a product when it’s ready.
