Culminating his education in communication and language studies, he wrote a thesis on the use of odors as a common language among gods and mortals, which served as a foundation for his quest to produce his own luxury line of perfume. Having worked with some of the top fragrance designers, such as Christian Dior and Giorgio Armani, he is quoted as saying, “I want to put perfumery back on its pedestal by going back to the truth about perfume; back to the way perfume was made in the late 19th and the early 20th century, but adding a contemporary twist at the same time.” To top it off, his company strives to protect the environment advocating sustainability through refillable, reusable products.
