About the fragrance
Think of Colonia Essenza as the dressed-up version of a classic cologne, with a floral collar turned up and a little more presence than the original.
Unusually, the flowers come first: rose, jasmine and lily of the valley give the opening a clean bouquet. Then the cologne structure arrives, with neroli, sage, rosemary and petitgrain alongside mandarin, orange and bergamot. Amber and musk close it in a soft, slightly warm finish that stays tidy.
Framed for men, it works for both day and evening and suits anyone who wants a citrus cologne with more polish. If you want the crisp sport of Colonia Club, this is smoother and more formal. Its floral opening is the part people either love or find old-fashioned, and a decant settles that quickly.
