About the fragrance
Green almond and coffee beans under a flowering tree: Mandorlo di Sicilia is the soft, nutty corner of the Blu Mediterraneo collection, an oriental floral for anyone.
Bergamot and orange blossom lift the opening, while green almond, frangipani and a touch of star anise give it a gently sweet, slightly licorice tone. White peach and white jasmine form a creamy heart, and a few coffee grains add a roasted edge that keeps it from turning sugary. Bourbon vanilla, musk, cedar and sandalwood finish it warm and smooth.
It is the Blu Mediterraneo pick for cooler days and relaxed evenings, and a good bridge for people who usually avoid citrus scents. Anyone wanting crisp freshness should try Arancia di Capri instead. Almond can tip into marzipan on some skin, which is exactly what a decant will show you.
Notes. Top: bergamot, frangipani, green almond, orange blossom, star anise; heart: white peach, white jasmine, coffee; base: Bourbon vanilla, musk, cedar, sandalwood. Launched in 1999.
