About the fragrance
Dark cherries, pineapple and a puff of smoke: Insurrection II Dark is a rich, fruity woody from Reyane Tradition.
Cassis, apple, bergamot and pineapple open with a strong fruit accord, pineapple at the front and a dark-cherry shade behind it. Jasmine, birch and patchouli turn the heart woody and smoky. In the drydown it softens into a powdery mix of oakmoss, musk, amber and vanilla.
It is listed for everyone but leans masculine, and it belongs to fall and winter, especially for fans of cherry-tobacco warmth. Anyone wanting a light office scent should look elsewhere. Smoky birch and sweet fruit together can be thrilling or heavy, so a decant is a smart way to test the balance.
