About the fragrance
Powdery iris laid over leather: L'Homme Intense is Prada's denser take on its iris signature, a woody scent cut for men.
Iris and amber appear together from the first spray, cool and warm at the same time. Leather and patchouli take the middle, giving it a darker, more grounded tone, and sandalwood with tonka bean finishes it soft and slightly sweet.
It feels right in autumn and winter, with knitwear or a dark suit, and suits men who like their scents refined rather than loud. Anyone who finds iris too powdery or lipstick-like should test first. Compared with the airier L'Homme L'Eau, this is heavier and more evening-ready. Iris is hard to judge on paper, so a few days with a decant are worth it.
