Russian Leather Perfume by Memo, The character of Russian Leather, a fragrance for women and men, may surprise you. 
In spite of the name, it is a fougere fragrance with most of the notes deriving from green plants. Leather is, nevertheless, one of the strongest and most recognizable notes present in the profile. Cedar needles, guaiac wood, cypress, and pine create a woodsy accord. Camphorous mint cools the spicy notes of coriander, nutmeg, and tonka bean. Herbal notes of basil, rosemary, clary
 
sage, and lavender combine with a green note of fern and an unexpectedly musky note of patchouli.
This fragrance was released by Memo in 2016. The relatively new fragrance house had its genesis in a professional and personal partnership that began between John and Clara Molloy on a ski lift, with the company being founded in Paris in 2007. Originally from Andalusia, Clara Molloy's world-travel mementos serve as inspiration for the company's fragrances.
With its green and aromatic character, this fragrance is well suited to autumn days when you're not quite ready to bid farewell to verdant summer foliage.
