About the fragrance
Dark, smooth and a little leathery, Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme is a woody scent built around cypress, violet and tobacco.
The opening pairs green, resinous cypress with powdery violet and a touch of bergamot. Tobacco and jasmine give the heart a soft, rounded richness. The base is the longest part of the wear: patchouli, amber, leather, elemi and olibanum, warm and slightly smoky, like polished wood in a quiet room.
It suits autumn and winter, evenings and formal settings better than a summer afternoon. If you like Gucci Guilty but want something drier and more serious, try both as decants side by side.
