About the fragrance
A box of pralines opened beside a vase of iris: La Vie Est Belle is Lancôme’s gourmand floral and one of the most recognizable sweet perfumes of the last decade.
Black currant and pear open it with juicy brightness. Iris sits at the center with jasmine and orange blossom, powdery and soft, and the base is praline, vanilla, patchouli and tonka: sweet, warm and very present.
It is a women’s fragrance for cool weather and evenings, and for anyone who likes a sweet perfume with presence. That sweetness is the whole point, and also the main reason some people find it too much in summer or in a small room.
It is sold out for now. When it returns, a 5 ml decant of the Eau de Parfum lets you live with it for a few days, ideally side by side with Al Haramain Dazzle Intense, an alternative often compared with it.
